Am I a “Prospective Student”?
A Prospective Student is an individual who is not currently enrolled at the college, but considering studying at Algonquin College.
How can I make an appointment?
Call the Welcome Centre (613-727-4723 ext. 7200) to ask for an appointment to meet with a Career Advisor. Tell them that you are a Prospective Student.
How much does an appointment cost?
There is no fee for this service, but please note each Prospective Student is limited to one 30-minute session.
Who do I talk to if I’m interested in attending Algonquin?
There are many services at Algonquin College that can assist you in applying for and enrolling in a program. A Career Advisor can connect you with these resources, as well as provide a general overview of program offerings specific to your interests and goals, and highlight tools for further career exploration to create an action plan for your next steps.
How do I choose the best program for me?
It is important to make an informed decision; this will help you construct a foundation for a satisfying career. A Career Advisor can provide you with:
