Who We Are
The Curriculum Implementation Services (CIS) supports programs with course development.
Every program area at the College has a designated CIS representative to provide design and technology integration assistance.
Course Development at Algonquin
There are four learning modes for course delivery at Algonquin College:
- traditional (i.e. face-to-face)
- fully online,
- hybrid
- experiential (e.g. labs, cooperative experiences etc.)
This web site currently provides process guides (roadmaps) for online and hybrid with resources to support each step.
In support of Algonquin's transformation into a fully mobile learning environment, CIS also supports the redesign of courses into ones focused on the mobile learner.
