BOOKKEEPING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The Bookkeeping Certificate Program is designed for individuals currently employed as bookkeepers or accounting clerks who possess little or no formal training or those individuals who are seeking re-training or a career change in as short a time as possible. The program is also geared towards recent graduates of post-secondary institutions who aim to supplement their existing academic qualifications with a more marketable, "hands-on" credential.

The Program offers students the opportunity to obtain a thorough understanding of bookkeeping techniques and practices and how they are applied in both manual and computerized environments. Emphasis will be placed on the development of bookkeeping skills through the use of practical, "hands-on" training techniques.
