FUNDRAISING MANAGEMENT

This new program equips students with the skills necessary to successfully pursue a career in fundraising in the voluntary sector. The program provides students with an essential introduction to Fundraising with a view to enhancing marketable skills at an introductory level. Furthermore, students gain an exposure to contemporary methods of fundraising concepts, a sense of professional fundraising and the ability to assume introductory level responsibilities and ethical practices in areas such as, Special Events, Direct Mail and Telemarketing, Grant Seeking and Writing, Strategic Campaign Management and trends in Donor Centered Major Gifts and Planned Giving.

Graduate employment include opportunities in the areas of fundraising, fundraising management and fundraising consulting for social welfare agencies, hospitals, university and college foundations, health charities, international development agencies and community organizations.
