COMMERCIAL GARDENER CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

A basic understanding of horticulture science along with an extensive plant material list makes this certificate program suitable for anyone wishing to work in the Nursery or Garden Centre industry.

Welcome northern gardeners! The plant material courses will cover hardy plant material suitable from zones 2 through 5 with a few representative plants from zone 6.

Participants should complete 2 courses:  Basic Botany and Soil and Its Properties before undertaking any other courses. 

Participants must complete all core compulsory courses and 3 elective courses.
