EES AND PROGRAM QUALITY REVIEW (PQR)

As part of the Program Quality Review (PQR) process, the map of the EES learning outcomes, along with the documentation of the EES learning outcomes on the course outlines is reviewed by the EES Curriculum Committee. The purpose of this review is to ensure compliance with both the Ministry of Training, College and Universities EES policy and Algonquin's policy.

In addition to the documents provided by PQR team leaders, the EES Curriculum Committee makes use of the following documents to facilitate the process of providing feedback on the program of study and its inclusion of EES learning outcomes:

EES Course Outline Review Sheet (Adobe Acrobat File): This document supports the verification of the connection between the program map and the course outlines. Where appropriate there is opportunity to comment on the evidence found in the course outline for teaching of the outcomes, assessment of the outcomes, and for culminating performances of the outcomes.

PQR Summary Sheet (Adobe Acrobat File): This document outlines the areas that confirm a program's compliance with EES policies. Once this document has been completed by the EES curriculum committee a copy is shared with both the College's Program Quality Assurance Administrator, and the PQR team leader for the program.
