Implementation

This section addresses the ways in which EES learning outcomes find their way into our curriculum. Tips and tools are provided for the inclusion of EES learning outcomes in programs of study, in courses, and in the classroom. The role of the EES Curriculum Committee in the Program Quality Review (PQR) process is also outlined.

To address the distinct differences between the documentation phase and the delivery phase of implementation, there are two discrete areas in this section of the site:

Curriculum: This area deals with the documentation phase of implementation. Information in this area discusses the documenting of EES learning outcomes at the course and program level, provides some tools and ideas for mapping EES learning outcomes. The inclusion of EES learning outcomes in the Program Quality Review process and in the development of new programs is also discussed.

Delivery: This area provides suggestions and ideas for integrating the EES learning outcomes into classroom activities and assessment. In other words, the delivery phase of the implementation, where the curriculum documented on the course outline is brought to life. Each of the six skill categories is addressed.
