This session is for faculty designing a new hybrid in a new course/program. It includes:

 

Part 1B: Re-Designing a Traditional Course as a New Hybrid

This session is for faculty designing a new hybrid from an established traditional course. It includes:

 

N.B. Although these activities are similar to the session for new hybrids in a new course/program, the assumption here is that time will be spent on course re-design which has different issues/challenges than designing a brand new hybrid.

 

Part 1C: Tips and Ideas for Modifying an Established Hybrid Course

This session is for faculty wanting to modify an established hybrid course. It includes:

 

Part 2: Tips & Tools for Implementing & Managing a Hybrid Course in Progress

This session examines lessons learned about some of the important strategies and tools faculty have found that worked such as ways to get learners off to a strong start, to identify and support learners at risk, manage time for marking assignments, and creating active learning experiences. The session is enriched by the broad range of participant experiences with hybrid courses.
