College Communications
New employees of Algonquin College are invited to attend a college orientation and welcome session. Held bi-weekly, these sessions are designed to provide new employees with an overview of the College's mission, vision, policies and procedures. Information about health and safety, staff ID cards, parking, personnel benefits and union membership is also provided.

New employees will also meet with their departmental supervisor or a departmental representative on their first day of work. Topics covered include: course information, time sheets, work hours, class schedules, departmental communications etc. New hires are also introduced to departmental colleagues.
