A facility planning process is currently underway to complete a renovation and expansion of the College's Perth Campus. Algonquin has committed funds to help accommodate the immediate growth of the Perth Campus and raise the enrolment capacity by 100 students per semester. Once the planning process is complete and recommendations are approved, design and construction phases will follow.

To renovate and expand the Perth Campus to accommodate the immediate growth potential in trades programming the College will need to:

  • Reconfigure the existing carpentry shop to improve its functionality
  • Expand existing carpentry shop and/or add a new carpentry shop
  • Expand existing masonry shop
  • Provide additional facilities to support the increased enrollments
  • Provide an additional large classroom and improved washroom capacity

Alternative growth strategies are to be explored for the Perth Campus to further increase the capacity of the facilities through potential partnerships to deliver curriculum off-site such as the Inn and Spa Program.
