Chef Warrick is also a coach and organizer for many of Algonquin College’s hot food competitions. Chef Warrick has also on many occasions provided support for the College’s special needs students who are interested in learning about the culinary field.
Outside of the College, Chef Warrick works as a Food Service Consultant and has in the past provided food stylist services to McCain International Foods, Loblaw’s & the LCBO. Chef Warrick is Executive Chef and food consultant to Ottawa Bluesfest and Culinary Advisor for the Ottawa Wine & Food Show. He was part of the City of Ottawa’s Street Food Selection Panel and sits on the Board of Directors for the City of Ottawa’s Food Policy Council.
Prior to working at the College, Chef Warrick worked as a Chef for the House of Commons in Ottawa, Canada. At the House of Commons Chef Warrick played an active role in all areas of food production and distribution. Chef Warrick was involved in the development and writing of recipes, food costing, inventory, menu planning, and the training of new staff.
Chef Warrick is a member of the Canadian Culinary Federation of Chefs and Cooks (C.C.F.C.C.), a member of the local CCFCC Executive, and holds his CCC designation (Canadian Culinary Certification). Chef Warrick is a Red Seal Chef.

As a Global Event Marketing Manager with Nokia for three years, Sandy was instrumental in both the strategic and tactical execution of multi-faceted, complex regional and global events and tradeshows. During her 15 year employment with Mitel Networks, Sandy managed the Global Event Management team and was a key player in creating an annual proprietary conference which brought multiple audiences in one venue. Her work included the creation of integrated marketing programs to ensure goals and objectives were achieved, and the development and management of event critical paths.

Neil Hunter brings over 30 years of invaluable, on-the-job experience as a full-time Professor and Coordinator in the Animation program at Algonquin College. On top of mentoring students since 2003, he has represented the College by training instructors and developing courses for affiliate organizations in India and Africa.
After graduating from the three-year Classical Animation program at Sheridan College in 1984, Neil worked as a senior animator on the Gemini Award-winning series The Raccoons. He also animated on specials like Teddy Bears Picnic and The Railway Dragon.
By the late 80’s, Neil started working as a Storyboard Artist for various television series, such as For Better or For Worse (Hinton Animation Studios), Beetlejuice, Babar (Nelvana), Richard Scary, Little Lulu (Cinar), The Clique, RoboRoach, Mole Sisters (Funbag), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Fred Wolf Films), X-Men Evolution (Film Roman), Where’s Waldo?, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Dave (DIC Entertainment), and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas (Walt Disney Animation Studios), to name a few. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Animation for his contribution to Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? in both 1995 and 1996.
Neil also oversaw the development and production of several projects. As a Director he co-wrote, produced, and directed Little Bear and the Legend of the Stars. As Story Editor and Creative Producer, he worked on Hoze Hounds, Zeroman, and several animated features. Today, Neil remains involved in the industry by doing freelance work.
