CANADIAN FEDERATION of  UNIVERSITY WOMEN - KANATA BURSARY
For a mature female student after first term who is resuming her education.

CANADIAN FEDERATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN/NEPEAN BURSARY SCHOLARSHIP

Awarded to a female resident of Ottawa in the Practical Nursing program entering her graduate year of study.  Candidate will have a B average and show financial need.  Deadlines: November 3, 2008 and March 31, 2009.


CANADIAN MARCONI COMPANY BURSARY
For graduating students in the Electronics Engineering Program.

CANADIAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION - OTTAWA CHAPTER BURSARY
For a student in the Business - Marketing program with a minimum 'B' average.
Deadline: September 28, 2008.

CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION

a) Oreste Ewanchyshyn Memorial Fund

This fund is available for past and present youth in care of the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa for any program.  Contact the Champions for Children Foundation for more information.  This fund was created in memory of Oresete Ewanchyshyn.  

b) M.A. Teall Memorial Fund

This fund is available for past and present youth in care of the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa for any program.  Contact the Champions for Children Foundation for more information.  This fund was created in memory of Murial Anna Teall.  

c) Bell Bursary

This fund is available for past and present youth in care of the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa for any program.  Contact the Champions for Children Foundation for more information.  

d)The Sal Iacono Family Bursary

This fund is available to students at all three campuses for past and present youth in care of the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, Easter Seals Ontario and Christie Lake Camp.

CHANCES  'R'  BURSARY
For one student in the Hospitality Management - Hotel and Restaurant program and one student in the Culinary Management program after 2nd level who has maintained a GPA of 3.0.  Deadline:  September 22, 2008.

CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS OF CANADA - Ottawa Chapter

Awarded to a Public Relations student after 2nd term who is a Canadian resident with a commitment to the program including sound ethical values.  Deadline:  January 30, 2009.

CRS (CONTRACTORS RENTAL SUPPLY) and FRIENDS BURSARY
For a Building Construction Technician student after 2nd term with a minimum 'B' average, strong leadership and sound practical skills in the program. Deadline: March 16, 2009.

CYNTHIA BLED EDUCATION BURSARY AWARDS
1)  For students in the 3-year Child and Youth Worker and the 2-year Social Services Worker programs upon completion of 2nd term. Must have overcome challenges, have good attendance and practical skills in their field of study.  Deadline: January 30, 2009.

2) Awarded to one student registered in the two-year Print Journalism program and one student registered in the two-year Broadcasting - Radio program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Must demonstrate financial need and ability to overcome challenges, practical skills and passion for the industry.  Deadline:  January 30, 2009.

DAVID WALLACE HEALTH and COMMUNITY BURSARY
For students in the Practical Nursing program with a minimum 'B' average upon completion of 2nd term who demonstrate high scholastic achievement. Deadlines: October 10, 2008 and March 30, 2009.

DIRECT ENERGY/SENS FOUNDATION
- BILL PATTERSON  MEMORIAL BURSARY

Three bursaries for students with a minimum 'B' average in financial need in the following program
1) Sports Business Management after 1st term: Deadline: January 30, 2009;
2) Business - Marketing after 2nd term: Deadline: September 26, 2008.
3) Broadcasting - Radio/Journalism -Print:  Deadline:  January 30, 2009 
         
DON EAST MEMORIAL BURSARY
Awarded to a student in the 2nd term of a program from all three campuses. Don East was one of the College's founding faculty members.  Deadline:  May 30th, 2009.


DONNA MURDIE MEMORIAL BURSARY
For a Broadcasting - Television student upon completion of 2nd term who demonstrates strong creativity and a passion for the industry.  Deadline:  January 30, 2009.

DOREEN BARKER MEMORIAL BURSARY FOR WOMEN
IN TRADES and/or TECHNOLOGY

For women returning to/continuing school (after an absence from the paid workforce or formal studies) to study in a non-traditional trade for women or in an area of technology.  Deadline: October 15th, 2008.

DOUG MURRAY LIFE BURSARY
Awarded to 2nd and 3rd year students registered in the BAA - Interior Design program, who demonstrate financial need and a minimum 'B' grade point average.  Applicants must submit an essay of approximately 600 words(double spaced) with a specific topic description available from the school contact.  Deadline: March 16, 2009.

DR. KONSTANTIN SIEGMUND MEMORIAL AWARD
For students entering 3rd year of the B.Sc. Nursing program who demonstrate kindness, caring and compassion in dealing with patients and their families.

ED IRELAND CIVIL ENGINEERING BURSARY

Given to a student who has completed their first year of the Civil Engineering Technician program who has good attendance and shows financial need.  Deadline: September 19, 2008.

ED IRELAND NURSING BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Practical Nursing program in the School of Health and Community Studies after completion of first semester who displays financial need.  Deadline: November 3, 2008.


ESTY BYBELEZER BURSARY FUND
For Community and Justices (formerly Correctional Worker) students recommended by the program coordinator.
