FRANK AND ANNA ALTIMAS BURSARY SCHOLARSHIP 

Awarded to a student in the Financial, Office and Legal Studies Department: Business Administration program who has completed their second semester and displays financial need while maintaining a minimum B average.


GAY COOK BURSARY
For a 3rd or 4th level Culinary Management student who exhibits the ability to work with others, inspires co-operation and inclusion and shares learning.  Awarded in recognition of Gay Cook's unique talents.  Deadline: September 22, 2008.

GENERAL ARTS and SCIENCE AWARD
For a graduate of the 2nd year General Arts and Science (GAS) program with a minimum GPA of 2.7 who best exemplifies school spirit by overcoming challenges.

GORDON MCMILLAN TRADES BURSARY
For two full-time students in a two-year trades program who attained above average grades and have been Lanark County residents for two years prior to starting their program.  Deadline: November 28, 2008.

The GM'S BURSARY AWARD
For a registered Level 2 or returning Level 3 student of the Hospitality Management - Hotel and Restaurant program who achieved a GPA of 3.0 and is involved in community activities.  Deadline: September 22, 2008.

GRAND & TOY BURSARY
Awarded to students at all three campuses after 2nd term with a minimum 'B' average.

GREATER NEPEAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BURSARY
For a Business Administration student upon completion of 2nd term who is returning to the 3rd term and shows ongoing grades improvement. Deadline: September 12, 2009.

HARRY REECE SPIRIT of LIFE BURSARY
For a first-year student returning to Level 3 of the Hospitality Management - Hotel and Restaurant program who achieved a GPA of 3.0, communicates well with and listens to others and is involved in community activities. Deadline:  September 22, 2008.

HEADLINE SPORTS BROADCASTING BURSARY
For students in Broadcasting programs.

IRENE STARK BURSARY
For three Library and Information Technician students upon completion of 2nd term with high scholastic achievement - minimum 'B' average, strong communication skills and highly motivated for a career in the LIT services. Deadline: March 31, 2009.

JAMES ZAGON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Awarded to a student who has completed their first year of the Photography program and who has demonstrates financial need and maintains a GPA of 2.7. Deadline: April 11, 2009.

J. CAMERON WATSON BURSARY

Awarded to student(s) enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: March 31, 2009.

JOAN GALE PRACTICAL NURSING (YEAR 1) BURSARY
For two Practical Nursing students entering the Winter term - Level 2 and one student entering the Spring term - Level 2 with a minimum 'B' average upon completion of 1st term.  Deadline:  January 30, 2009.

JOHN PAINTER MEMORIAL BURSARY

For a 2nd or 3rd year student in the Business - Marketing option of the  Business Administration program.

JOHNSON INC BURSARY
For a student in the Ottawa, Pembroke or Perth, upon completion of 2nd term.  Must demonstrate financial need with a minimum 'B' average.  Deadline:  May 30th, 2009

JON CASSAR BURSARY

Awarded to a student(s) enrolled in the Broadcasting Television program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: January 30, 2009.

KAYODE MODESTE BURSARY
For a full-time registered international student with a financial emergency.

KERRY SMITH PRACTICAL NURSING BURSARY

Awarded to a student(s) registered in the Practical Nursing program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: March 31, 2009.

LARRY  O'BRIEN BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Professional Writing program upon completion of 2nd semester. Most be a resident of the City of Ottawa.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline:  March 16, 2009.

LEACROSS FOUNDATION BURSARY
For a female student with a minimum 'B' average upon completion of 2nd term in one of the following programs:
Building Construction Technician
Carpentry & Millwork - Heritage
Construction Carpentry - Advanced Housing
Construction Carpentry Techniques
Outdoor Adventure
Paramedic
Police Foundations.

LENORE P. BUNESS ALGONQUIN PUBLISHING CENTRE BURSARY
Awarded to a 1st year Print Media student after 2nd semester who demonstrates financial need and a minimum 'B' grade point average. Deadline:  April 11, 2009.

LIBRARY ASSOCIATION of NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (LANCR) BURSARY
For Library and Information Technician students upon completion of 2nd term with a minimum 'B' average who display strong leadership, express interest in the work of professional associations, exhibit a commitment to collaboration work and a desire to pursue a career as Library Technician.
Deadline:  April 11, 2009.

For Pembroke Campus students.

LORETTA TARIO BURSARY AWARD

For a 4th year Pembroke Campus B.Sc. Nursing student viewed as a true nursing role model who displays: strong values, passion, ethics and dedication; kind, caring manner to patients and their families; and is a contributing team member, with competencies in multiple clinical settings.  Selection is by secret ballot of peers in the 3rd year B.Sc. Nursing class.
