MARSHALL STEVENSON SCHOLARSHIP BURSARY
For a full-time graduating level Carpentry and Millwork - Heritage program student with good academic standing and attendance who demonstrates co-operation and helpfulness with others.  Deadline: November 28, 2008.

MBNA CANADA/SENS FOUNDATION BURSARY
For students entering 3rd year of Business Administration, 2nd year of Business - Marketing or the Sport Business Management programs. Deadline: September 26, 2008.

MOE ATALLAH HOSPITALITY BURSARY

(1) Awarded to a student in the Culinary Management upon completion of 1st semester.  Demonstrate a passion to be a chef in a restaurant, and demonstrate punctuality and excellent attendance. Need a minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need  Deadline: September 22, 2008.  

(2) A student registered in the Culinary Skills - Chef Training Program upon completion of 2nd semester. Demonstrate a passion for the industry, punctuality and excellent attendance and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.   Need a minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline:  March 17, 2009. 

The METIS NATION OF ONTARIO BURSARY AWARD
The mailing address for the donor of this bursary is: 115 Seale Court, Kingston,  Ontario K7P 0A2.  Telephone: 1-800-263-4889. Donor application forms are available at Financial Aid, Woodroffe Campus, Room C225.  Deadline: mid-October.

MICHELLE VALBERG BURSARY
For a 2nd year Photography student in 4th term with a minimum 'B' average. Deadline; January 30, 2009.

MILITARY FAMILIES FUND SENS FOUNDATION BURSARY

Awarded to students in Pembroke, Perth or Woodroffe Campus.  Special consideration given to military members, partners or children of military members enrolled in a full-time post secondary program. Deadline: September 8, 2008.


MKI TRAVEL and HOSPITALITY BURSARY
For a successful 1st year student returning to 2nd year in the Culinary Management, Hospitality Management - Hotel and Restaurant, Tourism and Travel programs or a student entering the 1st year of the Event Management program. The student has a GPA of 3.0, a passion for the industry and strong leadership skills. Students of Aboriginal, First Nations and Inuit background will be given additional consideration.  Deadline: September 22, 2008.

NATALIE SYLVESTRE MEMORIAL BURSARY

For a Dental Hygiene student after first term.  Deadline: January 5, 2009.

NATIONAL CAPITAL HEAVY CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATION
- SEWER AND WATERMAIN BURSARY

For a student entering 3rd year of Civil Engineering Technology. Deadline: September 17th, 2008.

NEPEAN KIWANIS FRED SULLIVAN BURSARY
Preferably (not mandatory) for a resident of the Nepean sector of Ottawa.

NEPEAN'S BEN FRANKLIN BURSARY

Awarded to a student upon completion of first semester. The recipient should be involved in the community through volunteering, have good attendance.  Additional consideration given to students living in Nepean.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.

NEWMAN HORTICULTURE BURSARY
Awarded to a 5th semester student in the Horticulture program, who demonstrates financial need, has strong leadership abilities and a desire to pursue a career in horticulture. 

Deadline: February 20, 2009.


NISSAN CANADA INC. BURSARY
Awarded to a 2nd semester Motive Power Technician students with a minimum 'B' average.

Deadline: March 16, 2009.

NIXON FAMILY PETS' BURSARY

For a Veterinary Technician student with a minimum 'B' average upon completion of 2nd term who takes initiative in class and has a genuine love of animals.  Deadline: March 31, 2009.

NOKIA TECHNOLOGY BURSARY AWARD
For a student upon completion of 1st term who is registered in the Computer Engineering Technology program. Deadline:  September 19, 2008.

NORAH ALLEN WATERMAN BURSARY
For 1st year Practical Nursing students.

OPERATION BREAK (RUTH WILDGEN) BURSARY
For female students.

OPERATION GO HOME BURSARY
For students who have been helped by Operation Go Home, the Youth Services Bureau or other such agency.

OTTAWA CITIZEN BURSARY

Awarded to student(s) enrolled in the e-Publishing program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline:  January 28, 2009.

OTTAWA GRAPHIC ARTS BURSARY
Awarded to a student in Print Media program enrolled in the School of Media and Design after 2nd semester, minimum 'B' average.  Deadline: April 1, 2009.

OTTAWA NEW CAR DEALERS ASSOICATION BURSARY AWARD

Awarded to a student who has completed 1st semester of the Motive Power program.  This student should have a B average and demonstrate financial need.


OTTAWA NEW CAR DEALERS ASSOCIATION
- DON MANN BURSARY AWARD

For a 2nd term Motive Power Technician student who demonstrates skill in practical classes. 

Deadline: March 16, 2008.

OTTAWA RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION BURSARY

(1) Awarded to a student in the Culinary Management upon completion of 1st semester.  Demonstrate a passion to be a chef in a restaurant, and demonstrate punctuality and excellent attendance. Need a minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need  Deadline: September 22, 2008.

OUTCARE FOUNDATION BURSARY AWARD
For a student with a minimum 'B' average upon completion of 1st term in one of the following programs:
Practical Nursing
Personal Support Worker
Developmental Services Worker
Social Service Worker.
Deadline: January 30, 2009.

PAT HOPP MEMORIAL BURSARY

Awarded to (2) students enrolled in the Tourism and Travel, the Hotel Restaurant Management and/or the Culinary Management programs.  Returning student who has successfully completed their 1st year.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Additional criteria is overcome challenges in a written paragraph that will also include why there are qualified to receive this bursary.  Deadline: September 22, 2009.

PAUL KHOURY - ANN HOLMES AWARD
For a student with a minimum 'B' average beginning 1st term of a program in the School of Advanced Technology. Deadline: September 19, 2008

PEMBROKE LUMBER KINGS AND COGECO COMMUNITY TELEVISION BURSARY

Awarded to students enrolled in the Golf and Ski Operations Management, Outdoor Adventure or Outdoor Adventure Naturalist programs upon completion of first semester who shows financial need.


PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT BURSARY

For a student in the Bachelor of Applied Business-eBusiness Supply Chain Management program upon completion of 4th term who has high academic standing.  Deadline: September 26, 2008.

PERTH AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
- LILY ROY MEMORIAL BURSARY FUND

For a Perth Campus student with a minimum 'B' average who represents qualities exemplified by Lily Roy, namely, care for the individual, community, health, safety, fitness, environment, literacy, youth and the aged.  Deadline: November 28, 2008.

PERTH and DISTRICT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
- TOWN of PERTH BURSARY FUND

For a Perth Campus student with a minimum 'B' average.  Deadline: November 28, 2008.

PETER WINTONICK BURSARY

Awarded to a student(s) registered in the Scriptwriting program upon completion of 1st semester. Special consideration given to First Nation students with an interest in pursing documentary and/or new media program.  Deadline:  January 30, 2009.

PRACTICAL NURSING BURSARY
For a Practical Nursing student after 2nd term. Deadline: January 30, 2009.

PREMIER'S TECHNOLOGY BURSARY
For 3rd year Technology students.

PROFESSOR JANE LAUT BURSARY
For a full-time female Perth Campus student with good attendance who is faced with challenges/barriers in her return to academic studies and who is positive and supportive to others in her program.  Deadline:  November 28, 2008.

PURCHASING MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION OF CANADA

- Ottawa Members

Three bursaries to be awarded in Fall term for full-time 5th term Bachelor of Applied Business (e-Business Supply Chain Management) students with a minimum 2.5 GPA and interest in purchasing.  Deadline: September 26, 2008.
