For students in the areas of science, technology, engineering or business-related faculties.

3M TEXTBOOK BURSARY
For a full-time Perth Campus student in the Office Administration - Executive program registered in the final term. Deadline: April 25, 2009.

ABDUL ABDULRAHMAN RESPIRATORY THERAPY BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Respiratory Therapy program upon completion of 2nd semester and should also demonstrate an aptitude to reach and work beyond the scope(or limits) of his or her present learning. Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need. Deadline: March 31, 2009.

ALEXANDRA CLUB OF PEMBROKE BURSARY

To be awarded to one student going into their 3rd year of the BSCN Nursing. Based on financial need.

ALEX ARNOTT MEMORIAL TRADES BURSARY

Awarded to two full-time students registered in a trades program that has demonstrated financial need, attained above average grades and has been a resident of Lanark County for at least two years prior to beginning the program.

For a full-time student who volunteers and actively participates in college activities. Must be related to an alumnus of Algonquin College.

ALICE BAIRD BURSARY

Awarded to student in the Practical Nursing Program upon completion of 2nd semester. Students to possess a trait and/or passion for caring for Palliative Care patients. Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need. Student is to submit two paragraphs outlining:

(a) Their understanding of the importance of hospice palliative care.

(b) What personal strengths they bring to the hospital palliative care role. Deadline: September 21, 2008.

ALZHEIMER SOCIETY BURSARY
For students enrolled in the Dementia Studies program.

ANNE BOOTH BURSARY
For a student registered in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of the Business Administration program who is in good academic standing.

BELL / SENS FOUNDATION BURSARY
For a Sport Business Management student after 2nd term who has a minimum 'B' average. Deadline: June 12, 2009.

BETH FERGUSON MEMORIAL BURSARY
For a first year Public Relations student for service to the community. Deadline: May 9, 2009.

BETH PERRIN MEMORIAL BURSARY
For a Veterinary Technician program student taking an English course who demonstrates academic achievement. Deadline: November 28, 2008.

BETTYE HYDE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION BURSARY

Awarded to a student registered in the Early Childhood Education program. Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need. Deadline: January 30, 2009.

BILL AND JUNE JOE BURSARY
For two students in the Hospitality Management - Hotel and Restaurant program and one student in the Culinary Management program who have completed 2nd term and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Deadline: September 22, 2008.

BRIAN KILREA LEADERSHIP BURSARY
For a Sport Business Management student with a minimum 'B' average who demonstrates excellence, leadership and positive participation in program activities. Deadline: June 12, 2009.

BRENDA HAZEL BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Respiratory Therapy program upon completion of the 2nd semester. Student should demonstrate financial need and a minimum B average. Deadline : March 31, 2009.

BUCK AND HEATHER ARNOLD BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the 3rd semester of the Practical Nursing program who has demonstrated a passion about nursing and shows financial need. Deadline: November 3, 2008.
