BETH PERRIN MEMORIAL BURSARY Awarded to a student in the Veterinary Technician program and taking an English course. Student must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Deadline: November 25, 2011. * CHANCES “R” POLICE FOUNDATIONS BURSARY Awarded annually to a Police Foundations student during 2nd semester. Student must show financial need and have a minimum B average. Deadline: February 17, 2012. * ED IRELAND POLICE FOUNDATIONS BURSARY Awarded to a student during 2nd semester of the program who can demonstrate financial need. Deadline: February 17, 2012. * ED IRELAND PPSI BURSARY Awarded to a student during 2nd semester in any full-time program in PPSI who can demonstrate financial need. Deadline: February 17, 2012. * ED IRELAND VETERINARY TECHNICIAN BURSARY Awarded to a student registered in the Veterinary Technician program during 2nd semester. Student must demonstrate financial need. Deadline: February 17, 2012.* GERALD DUNLOP BURSARY Awarded to three students in the Police Foundations program and two students in the Paramedic program who can demonstrate financial need. Recipients must be able to demonstrate a passion to follow a career path in their field of study. Deadline: February 17, 2012. * J. CAMERON WATSON BURSARY To be awarded to students registered in the Veterinary Technician program during of 2nd semester, who maintains a ‘B’ average and demonstrates financial need. Deadline: February 17, 2012 * MARIE CORMIER VETERINARY TECHNICIAN BURSARY Awarded to a student in the Veterinary Technician program during 2nd semester who can demonstrate financial need. The student should be able to demonstrate a high level of passion and interest for the profession through extracurricular volunteer work associated with the animal health care industry. NIXON FAMILY PETS’ BURSARY Awarded upon completion of 2nd semester in the Veterinary Technician program. Student must take initiative in class, have a genuine love of animals, a minimum ‘B’ average and financial need. Deadline: February 17, 2012. * VINCE BEVAN BURSARY YARROW DARBY LEROY-BLAISDELL MEMORIAL BURSARY Awarded to a student registered in the Veterinary Technician program during 2nd semester, who can demonstrate financial need. Student should be compassionate, attentive, have positive values and dedicated towards study and a future career and have a ‘B’ average. Deadline: February 17, 2012.
