SAL IACONO FAMILY BURSARIES FOR WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY/TECHNICIAN STUDIES

Awarded to two students enrolled in any semester of the Wireless/Mobility Telecommunications Engineering Technician/Technology programs who can demonstrate financial need. These bursaries have been established in support of the Canadian Telecommunications Hall of Fame “National Telecom Student Education Fund” and in recognition of Sal Iacono’s 30 Year Career in Telecommunications. Deadline: October 3, 2011. *

SHIRLEY AND LEN WESTWELL AND FAMILY BURSARY

Awarded to a student during the 5th semester of the Civil Engineering Technology program who can demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: October 3, 2011. *

TAMARACK HOMES BURSARY

Awarded to two students in level 3 and (2) students in level 5 in the Architectural Technology program who can demonstrate financial need.   Deadline: October 3, 2011. *

 

TOYOTA CANADA FOUNDATION BURSARY

Awarded to students in the Motive Power Technician program.  Students must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum ‘B’average.  Half of the bursaries to be disbursed upon completion of 1st semester and half upon completion of 2nd semester.  Deadlines: October 3, 2011 and February 17, 2012. *

 

WESTEINDE CONSTRUCTION/GRIFFITHS RANKIN COOK ARCHITECTS DESIGN BUILD BURSARY

Awarded to a student in Architectural Technology, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Technology programs after completion of the 4th semester.  Recipient must have a minimum ‘B’ average and in financial need. Recipient represents team spirit, an interest in the integration of design and construction process and where possible, can show practical examples.  Student should also have strong written and oral presentation skills.  Deadline: October 3, 2011. *

Awarded to students during  the 4th semester of the Electrical Technology program who demonstrate financial need, show a passion for the utilities stream, and have a GPA of 3.0.
