ALAN WHITE BUSRARY

Awarded to a student in the second semester of the Broadcasting Television program who can demonstrate financial need. Deadline: January 29, 2010.

BETH FERGUSON MEMORIAL BURSARY
Awarded to a 1st year Public Relations student to the community and demonstrates financial need. Deadline:  May 7, 2010.

CREATIVE UNITY BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Advertising program who is going into 5th semester and can demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: March 19, 2010.


CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS OF CANADA
-OTTAWA CHAPTER - PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARD

Awarded to a Public Relations student after the 2nd semester, who demonstrates financial need, commitment to the Public Relations program including sound ethical values and be a Canadian resident.  Deadline:  January 29, 2010.

CYNTHIA BLED EDUCATION BURSARY
Awarded to one student registered in the two-year Print Journalism program and one student registered in the two-year Broadcasting - Radio program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Must demonstrate financial need and ability to overcome challenges, practical skills and passion for the industry. Deadline:  January 29, 2010.

DIRECT ENERGY/SENS FOUNDATION BILL PATTERSON MEMORIAL BURSARY

Two awards will be given to students with a minimum 'B' average and completion of the 2nd term in the Broadcasting-Television or Broadcasting-Radio programs.  Deadline:  January 29, 2010.

DONNA MURDIE MEMORIAL BURSARY
Awarded to a student in the Broadcasting - Television program upon completion of 2nd semester who demonstrates strong creativity, a passion for the industry and financial need.  Deadline:  January 29, 2010.

DOUG MURRAY LIFE BURSARY
Awarded to 2nd and 3rd year students registered in the BAA - Interior Design program, who demonstrate financial need and a minimum 'B' grade point average.  Applicants must submit an essay of approximately 600 words(double spaced) with a specific topic description available from the school contact.  Deadline:  March 17, 2010.

HARVEY AND LOUISE GLATT BROADCAST RADIO BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Radio Broadcasting program during their 4th semester who can demonstrate financial need.  The recipient should also have a passion for radio broadcasting and a demonstrated talent in a particular discipline of radio.  Deadline: January 29, 2010.


HERBERT S. RANSOM MEMORIAL BURSARY
Awarded in the fall to 2nd year returning Horticulture Technician students who demonstrate financial need, a minimum 'B' grade point average and exhibit the best overall combination of leadership and practical skills in the field of horticulture.  Deadline: October 30, 2010.

JAMES ZAGON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Awarded to a student going into 2nd year and who demonstrates financial need and maintains a minimum GPA of 2.7.

JON CASSAR BURSARY

Awarded to a student(s) enrolled in the Broadcasting Television program upon completion of 2nd semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: March 17, 2010.

LARRY  O'BRIEN BURSARY

Awarded to a student in the Professional Writing program upon completion of 2nd semester. Most be a resident of the City of Ottawa.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline:  March 17, 2010.

LENORE P. BUNESS ALGONQUIN PUBLISHING CENTRE BURSARY
Awarded to a 1st year Print Media student after 2nd semester who demonstrates financial need and a minimum 'B' grade point average.  Deadline: April 2, 2010.

MICHELLE VALBERG BURSARY
Awarded to a second year Photography student in 4th term with a minimum 'B' grade point average who demonstrates financial need.  Deadline: January 29, 2010.

NEWMAN HORTICULTURE BURSARY
Awarded to a 5th semester student in the Horticulture program, who demonstrates financial need, has strong leadership abilities and a desire to pursue a career in horticulture.  Deadline: February 20, 2009.

OTTAWA CITIZEN BURSARY

Awarded to student(s) enrolled in the Graphic program upon completion of 1st semester.  Minimum 'B' average and demonstrate financial need.  Deadline:  January 29, 2010.

OTTAWA GRAPHIC ARTS BURSARY
Awarded to a student in Print Media program enrolled in the School of Media and Design after 2nd semester, minimum 'B' average.  Deadline: April 2, 2010.

PETER WINTONICK BURSARY

Awarded to a student(s) registered in the Scriptwriting program upon completion of 1st semester. Special consideration given to First Nation students with an interest in pursing documentary and/or new media program.   Deadline: January 29, 2010.

ROGERS BROADCASTING

Awarded to a full-time student registered in the Broadcasting Radio program in the third semester who can demonstrate financial need. Deadline: November 20, 2009.


SUSAN ROONEY MEMORIAL BURSARY
Awarded to a 2nd year Public Relations student fro volunteer public relations who with a non-profit organization or with a professional communication association.  Student must demonstrate financial need.  Deadline: May 7, 2010.

THEATRE ARTS BURSARY

To be awarded to a student who has completed the first year of the Theatre Arts program in the School of  Media and Design who shows financial need.  Additional consideration given to female students.  Deadline: April 2, 2010.
