GLENN CLARK AWARD
 This cash award will be given to a student who has demonstrated strong communication skills and outstanding leadership ability.  The student must have successfully completed at least one English course at Algonquin College and must be registered in a post-secondary program in the:

Police and Public Safety Institute
General Arts and Sciences

SCHOOL of  MEDIA and DESIGN AWARD
Awarded to a graduating student who has demonstrated achievement in leadership in program-related activities, application of learning outcomes for the benefit of others and excellence in reaching the learning outcomes of the program and applying the knowledge to higher levels.

Sponsored by the Advertising program and presented to the graduating student who embodies the core values of the program: work ethic, integrity, cooperation, knowledge, excellence and determination.

ASSOCIATION of REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNERS of ONTARIO BOOK PRIZES
Two awards in recognition of the first-year and second-year Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design students who achieved high academic standing.

ASSOCIATION OF REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNERS of ONTARIO EASTERN CHAPTER  (ARIDO) AWARD
Awarded to the graduate who has achieved the highest academic standing in the Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design program.

CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS of CANADA - INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD
Awarded to a student who demonstrates exceptional comprehension of specific course material, a genuine interest in the subject matter, obtains the best results on the final exam and intends to pursue a career in the field of Interior Design.

GLOBAL GROUP AWARDS
Awarded to two students who have achieved the highest academic standing in their respective section at the end of their second year of the Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design program.

MARC ROBILLARD AWARD
Awarded to a first-year student of the Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design Advanced program who has most improved in academic standing.

SHAW CONTRACT AWARD
This is presented to a Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design student who demonstrates a creative and innovative usage of carpet product in conjunction with an interior design studio assignment.

RANDALL'S PAINTS AWARD
Awarded to each of two first-year Bachelor of Applied Arts - Interior Design students with the best design solution and statement of personal intent in conjunction with Design Project 1 (DSN 3018).

understanding of linear and non-inear editing systems.

CTV OTTAWA AWARD of  EXCELLENCE
Awarded to a graduating student with a high GPA who demonstrates the best ability to create a well-paced, stylistic program in a variety of categories.

CTV OTTAWA AWARD of EXCELLENCE  - TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
of the YEAR AWARD
Awarded to a graduating student with a high GPA who demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of control room operation, including technical set-up procedures for multi-camera studio production.

CTV OTTAWA SCHOLARSHIPS
Awarded to two returning students returning with the highest GPA in the second term of the program.

HEADLINE SPORTS ENDOWMENT FUND AWARD
GRAPHIC and ANIMATION ARTIST of the YEAR
Awarded to the student who clearly demonstrates an ability to compose 2D
digital television graphics and proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D motion graphics software.  Must also demonstrate an ability to format all television
graphic file types and expertness in creating and rendering computer-generated animation and effects.

NORTH CHANNEL PRODUCTIONS PRODUCER of the YEAR AWARD
To the Broadcasting - Television student demonstrating the best ability to coordinate and oversee all aspects of a production.

PRECISION TRANSFER TECHNOLOGIES DIRECTOR of PHOTOGRAPHY of the YEAR AWARD
Awarded to the student who clearly demonstrates a good knowledge of camera technology, including Betacam, DVC Pro and DVCAM.

Awarded to a Florist student who demonstrates excellence and creativity in floral design throughout the program.

TELE FLORA ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Awarded to the student demonstrating excellence and consistency in all aspects of floristry and who achieved the highest overall academic standing in the Florist program.
