For Your Stay At Residence . . .

picture of St Lawrence CollegeWe will be staying in the residence at the Kingston Campus of St. Lawrence College. The rooms in residence are single rooms. Each room has a single bed and desk. The pillows are plastic covered and the towels quite small. There is a wardrobe in each room but no hangers. Each room has its own washroom, sink and small fridge if you want to bring drinks or snacks.

All meals are provided. Parking is free.

In order to make yourself as comfortable as possible during your stay with us, and to benefit fully from the session, you may consider bringing some or all of the following items with you...

• radio/alarm clock
• hangers for your clothes

• reading light
• a large bath towel (if you are not used to a smaller variety)
• your own pillow
• kleenex and soap, shampoo etc.

• mug and/or water bottle (to be environmentally friendly)
• musical instruments, cards, board games etc. for fun in the evening
• snacks and/or Happy Hour supplies
• casual clothing including walking/running shoes

• classrooms and residence are air-conditioned, so you may want to bring a sweater

• an ethernet cable to hook up to the internet in residence


Please be sure to pack...

• information you collected from your learners
• 10 copies of the one page description of the resource you are recommending to   colleagues (from Activity #1 of your homework)

• 10 copies of your success paper (from Activity #3 of your homework)

• your binder from Part 1

• your FOL mug (to be eco-friendly)
