Our Meal Plans work on a declining balance system using your AC Card. Firstly, choose your meal plan that fits your needs and your spending. When you purchase your Meal Plan, food dollars are deposited into your ‘Meal Plan account’. Then, simply present your AC Card to the cashier at any of the available locations to eat on campus. The appropriate food dollars will be deducted from your ‘Meal Plan account’.

• Bring your application form to the Food Services Office in room D111 (the Food Services office) or call (613-727-4723 x 5723) or email (mealplans@algonquincollege.com) us!
• Once you have made a payment your plan is ACTIVE!
• Funds are linked to your AC CARD

This depends on your appetite! Breakfast can be anywhere between $5-$8, lunch $7-$12, and dinner $10-$13. Throw in a snack and the daily total can range from $22 – $35. To determine what Meal Plan is right for you, calculate what you feel you would spend on campus and multiply that by 115 (the number of class days during the academic year). Please note this does not include weekends.

• For your personal security a missing or lost card should be reported immediately to the Food Services Office where we will automatically freeze your card.
• You will be responsible for any purchases made before the card is reported missing.
• Lost cards can be replaced in the Card Services Office (E120). A replacement fee applies.

• You may ask a cashier for a receipt after any purchase to view the balance available on your Meal Plan.
• You may view your transactions or add additional funds at https://onlineplan.algonquincollege.com

There are 4 easy ways to add funds to you plan:

1. Online at https://onlineplan.algonquincollege.com/
2. At any Food Service location on Campus
3. At the Food Services office located in room D111 (D building)
4. By phone (613) 727-4723 Ext. 7615

• If you have a residence Two Term Light meal plan or a Light Term plan, those funds must be used within those two terms. 
• Any funds remaining on the Regular or Premium Term Plans could qualify for a refund. Please reach out to mealplans@algonquincollege.com to have your account reviewed.
