Many Algonquin College students almost start or almost complete a program but are unable to due to financial challenges. Seventy-five percent of students require financial assistance to pursue their dreams.

Thanks to generous individuals, corporations, service clubs and organizations donating annual bursaries, the lives of our students are impacted today!

In most cases, bursaries are intended to provide short-term funding.  Financial need is the main consideration in awarding bursaries.  Good academic standing is also a criterion, and in some cases, additional requirements must be met.  The donor establishes the criteria and is not involved in the selection process.

Financial aid disburses all bursaries.
An annual bursary requires a minimum of $500.
