Brenda Rothwell's career in fundraising spans over twenty years - raising over fifty million dollars in the fields of health care and education.  Her career encompasses public relations, communications, special events, major giving, planned giving and extensive experience in capital campaigns.

Brenda serves as Co-chair of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (Ottawa Chapter) and has completed her Certification as a Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Volunteerism positions include assisting with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa Children’s Aid Society, Bereaved Families of Ottawa, Peter Clarke Long Term Centre Board, Alzheimer’s Society of Ottawa and The Association of Fund Raising Professionals (Ottawa Chapter) and many other areas.

As a proud Algonquin College Public Relations graduate, Brenda is committed to raise funds with community partners to make a significant difference in student success through raising funds for student bursaries, student scholarships, instructional equipment and educational facilities.

Graham Thompson's career in fundraising began 17 years ago when he worked as the Director of Development with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada-Ottawa Chapter.  His fundraising background includes: major gifts, planned giving, special events, sponsorships, annual giving and communications.

A proud graduate of the Algonquin College Public Relations Program,  Graham enjoys his role with the Algonquin College Foundation.

Julia Wilson has enjoyed fundraising for ten years – over five with The Ottawa Hospital Foundation where she worked in many areas, from growing a leadership annual giving program to inspiring people to contribute major gifts or create endowment funds.

As a proud recipient of a certificate in Fundraising Management from Algonquin College, Julia embraces the opportunity to work with staff, students and our community partners to help people build dreams.
