Nissan Canada Inc. and three Ottawa-area Nissan dealers are addressing the current skilled-trades shortage in the automotive industry with a donation to the Algonquin College Foundation and the College’sTransportation Technology Centre. 
Donations from Tony Graham Nissan, Walkley Nissan, 417 Nissan, and Nissan Canada Inc. will total $150,000.
These donations will go to the Foundation’s TransportationTechnology Campaign and the establishment of the Nissan Canada Inc. Bursary, available to students in the College’s Motive Power Technician Program. 
Following the cheque presentation, John Tapp, Dean of the School of Transportation and Building Trades, will provide a tour of the College’s Transportation Technology Centre.
