Campus Tours

This is a general campus tour of the Ottawa Campus. We will visit the major common areas such as:

• the Registrar’s Office/Financial Aid
• Library
• Athletic and Recreation Centre
• Student Support Services
• Campus Bookstore
• Food Services
• Residence

Please note: Labs and classrooms are currently not available for viewing.

This is a general campus walking tour of the Ottawa Campus. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Tours are designed to start on time.

• Tours start in the C-Building lobby (see map below)
• Tours are approximately one and half hours in length
• Elevators and ramps are available for accessibility
• Wear comfortable shoes
• Bring your water bottle – we have refillable water stations throughout the Campus

• Please park only in the Visitors Parking – Lot 7 and make your way to main entrance of C-Building
• Upon check in, your tour guide will provide you with a parking pass to exit the lot
• All other parking on campus is either private or pay and display

Please note: You are responsible for payment and selecting the proper amount of time. Parking tickets are from the City of Ottawa cannot be reimbursed by the college.

Can I leave the tour before it ends?

Yes, simply let your tour guide know that you are leaving. They will direct you back to the Visitor Parking Lot or the transit station before continuing the tour.

Are animals allowed?

Only service animals are permitted on campus tours.

Are family or friends allowed to attend the tour with me?

Yes, please register all guests for the tour.

How long is the tour?

Approximately one and a half hours in length.

Can we see inside labs on the tour?

Viewing is available based on availability.

Is there a cost to park while attending a tour?

Free parking is available in Visitors Parking – Lot 7.  Our tour guide will provide you with a voucher at the start of the tour.

Can we see a room in Residence on the tour? 

Viewing is available based on availability.

Will we see the new Jack Doyle Athletic and Recreation Centre?

Yes, we will walk you through and show you all the exciting things the Centre has to offer!

Does Algonquin have All Gender Washrooms?

Yes, you will see signage around washrooms indicating the space is inclusive and that Algonquin College respects everyone’s right to choose the washroom that is appropriate for them.

This is a general campus walking tour of the Perth Campus. Try to arrive 10 minutes early. Tours are designed to start on time.

• You must register for a tour as space is limited
• Tours begin from the Main Office and take you through the campus. They run approximately 40 minutes in length
• Tours may involve going indoors and outdoors to see the entire campus
• We can’t guarantee access to labs or interaction with faculty as classes may be in session during campus tours

Parking is free for your Perth Campus tour. Please park in the parking lot.
