A complete listing of all general education electives, with descriptions and course outlines, are arranged below by theme. See Course Offerings for Winter 2009 .

It is by theme that your program coordinator has chosen electives for your program and it is by theme that you apply for exemptions.

You will only be able to choose from electives that are on your program of study.

Understanding Your Course Options

The general education elective descriptions on this site now include icons that highlight important course features. These icons are provided  to help you to compare your elective choices.

There will be a scheduled final exam that you must write on campus.

Group work is a required activity.

Self-paced course. You will need to independently work through lessons and set your own schedule for the completion of many course activities.

There will be a final online exam.

Online reading is required. Be prepared to be connected to the internet for 3 or more hours per week.

Textbooks and/or workbooks are required. You will need to buy a textbook and/or workbook for this course.
