MGT7330 Trends in Today's Workplace

In today's work culture, every employee needs to be knowledgeable of current trends and issues in the workplace.  Students will learn the roles and functions, critical tasks, and emerging issues facing employees.  A radically changing and flexible workplace presents unique and emerging employee issues. This course will examine the realities of new organizational practices such as working from the home, flexible workdays, work teams, employee rights and responsibilities, health and safety strategies to excel in the new workplace environment.  In addition, students will be introduced to the concepts related to employee motivation, and organizational leadership within today's organizations.
