“Algonquin College’s Food and Nutrition Management program built on the skills I developed in Culinary Management and gave me the necessary knowledge and networking opportunities to achieve a successful, rewarding, and well-paying career in the healthcare sector as a Food Service Supervisor for two hospitals in Ottawa.”

Tilly HartshornThe faculty and program content have been integral in helping me secure employment in Canada and back home in the United Kingdom. I received two job offers immediately following graduation! In my first role as a Food Writer, at Epicure in Victoria, BC, the hiring team was impressed with the knowledge I gained.

I have returned to the UK and am working for a major television company ITV as a Home Economist. Again, the hiring manager was keen to hear about the nutrition skills I had gained from the course. The management skills I acquired will enable me to manage my time, team members, and stage direct Chefs and celebrities and remain within budget.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is seeking skills that can be used in a variety of positions, whether in the food service industry or further afield. I feel knowledgeable and equipped to face any challenge within the employment world, with my newly acquired transferrable skill set.
