All full-time academic employees are paid according to their placement on the following salary grids. If you have questions about which grid applies to you, or your placement on that grid, please Starting placement on the salary grid is determined during the hiring process, and progression through the grid is determined by length of service and satisfactory performance, up to a pre-determined maximum (see the Maximum Salary Table below). Maximum Salary Table The maximum step attainable is determined at the time of hire, and is based on an employee's formal education or equivalencies:
Control Point Table As per Article 14.03 A2 (a), "annual increments to the control point are based on experience, at the rate of on step for each completed year on-the-job experience. Above the control point, but not beyond the maximum, one step will be granted where performance in the past year was satisfactory." Human Resources Services monitors the amount of service accumulated and automatically makes the appropriate step increases on an annual basis, up to the control point. In addition, we work with you and your manager throughout the performance appraisal process. The following table indicated the applicable control point based on the maximum salary step attainable:
