Staff Drive Storage

All Faculty and staff are allocated storage on a network attached storage system when their account is created. This storage supports access to client workstations and is intended as a central repository for private client documentation and files. This personal drive share is known as the “N Drive”. This storage is maintained on clustered systems with nightly backups maintained for a specified retention period. Self-service recovery of files is available through Windows services and version control.

N Drives are auto generated when the client’s network account is created.

Storage provided has an assigned quota. Once the quota has been reached no additional files can be stored on the drive.

Note: Staff also have Microsoft One Drive available as part of Office 365.

This drive space is removed when the client is no longer employed by the College.
