What is Innovation?

"The College defines innovation as the successful implementation of creative ideas which includes initiatives related to staff, programs, technology and business processes." - Strategic Plan 2008-2013

We define innovation as the successful execution of creative ideas. All innovation starts with creative ideas. While creativity suggests coming up with ideas, innovation implies "bringing these ideas to life". Creativity, as a result of individuals and teams, is the first step for innovation. Innovation is everywhere and can happen to anyone.
