IEC Explores Professional Development Opportunities with Turkish Delegates

The Director of the International Education Centre, Ernest Mulvey and the Manager of International Partnerships and Programs, Basam Al-Hasoo met with members of a Turkish delegation that visited Canada from June 22-27. The meeting was held at the Turkish Ambassador’s Residence in Ottawa.
Discussions with Dr. Osman ŞİMŞEK from Namık Kemal University and Dr. Yener YÖRÜK from Trakya University were centered round the best ways to involve Algonquin College in providing Professional Development Programs for the staff of both universities and exchanging students with AC.
Plans are in place to continue extensive discussions after Ramadan between the two Turkish Institutions and Algonquin College.
