Teacher Training Program Delivered in Shanghai

Rebecca Volk, Manager, Centre for Organizational Learning, delivered a teacher training program from July 14 – 18 in Shanghai to a group of around 30 vocational school teachers from Shanghai and other provinces in China. Algonquin signed a Letter of Intent in 2012 with the consortium of 6 vocational schools in China to promote faculty and students exchange programs. In this program teachers learn how to apply their understanding of how adults learn in order to manage the learning environment and to sustain the motivation and engagement of learners.
