The Libyan Minister of Higher Education visits Algonquin

The Libyan Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Mohamed Abdurrahman visited Algonquin College this month. He met with Algonquin’s President Mr. Robert Gillett and the Director of Algonquin’s International Education Centre, Mr. Ernest Mulvey.

Presentations on apprenticeship programs as well as the information and communication programs were given by Mr. Chris Hahn and Mr. Andrew Pridham. The delegation that also included the assistant of the minister Mr. Osama Koshadh, the chargé d’affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Ottawa Mr. Esam O. Ben Zitun and Algonquin’s manager of partnerships and programs Mr. Basam Al-Hasoo, toured the ACCE building and the Language Institute.
