Aswin enjoys the multicultural environment in Ottawa and with his culinary skills, is excited about the possibilities for his future. Aswin is currently working with the Fairmount Hotels.

Anne Mutua – Mombasa, Kenya, East Africa - Practical Nursing Diploma

Anne is a graduate of nursing and is employed in her field. Anne found her nursing professors and the staff at Algonquin to be very helpful.

 Manali Haridas – Mumbai, India – Graduate, Sport Business Management

Manali fulfilled her lifelong goal to study in the field of Sport Business Management. Manali now works for a sports organization in Ottawa and is using her skills to gain experience in the industry.

 Vivek  Sharma – Haryana, India – Mechanical Technician – Toolmaking

Vivek began his studies at Algonquin's India Campus - The Indo-Canadian School of Advanced Technology, located in Faridabad. After completing his first year of study, Vivek decided to transfer to the Ottawa Campus and finish his final year in Canada. Algonquin provided the technical, professional and research skills which enabled Vivek to successfully complete his co-op work placements. Vivek  is currently employed doing his post-graduate work placement in Ottawa.

 Wen Ma, Shanghai, China - Early Childhood Education

Maria chose to study in Ottawa because of the dynamic learning environment and enjoys both the French and English cultures of Canada. Maria achieved academic excellence in her studies and was in many extra-curricular activities and projects. Maria completed her field work placement where she was able to use her skills and knowledge and where her own cultural background and life experiences contributed to her ability to communicate with different cultural groups. Maria graduated from Algonquin with Honours.
