I had an excellent writing teacher who explained to me some writing techniques and helped me to feel more confident with my language. It was a wonderful experience and I do not regret it at all. When I first joined the program, I was extremely overwhelmed with the work load and the work quality we were expected to produce. With every problem, I was given a solution; At Algonquin, the teachers are always ready to help and advise you. People from all over the world are part of the Algonquin family. After graduation, I obtained a job at the Strategy and Business Development Division at the College as a Communications Assistant. I research and write about Africa. Without Algonquin, my former teachers and the people I met here, I would not be where I am today. It is very true that the people that shape tomorrow start here at Algonquin College.
