Dina Aitbaeva, Ufa, Russia
Business Administration Advanced Diploma
For most international students English could be a challenge, yet, well-prepared teachers are always there to help. I had an excellent writing teacher who explained to me some writing techniques and helped me to feel more confident with my language. It was a wonderful experience and I do not regret it at all. Next semester I'll be in a full-time business program. Starting new classes is always a challenge, but from what I've seen so far it should be all right |

My course has given me lots of hands-on experience and practical training for the materialistic world of tomorrow. Based on the assignments given to us, I think the curriculum was very challenging. The staff and faculty in Algonquin were always there to help us out. Being one of the directors of the Student's Association helped me to interact with a lot of international students from different cultures coming to Algonquin. With all the training and experience I had at Algonquin, I'm confident that I can achieve my goals and make an impact on the community we live in. |

When I first joined the program, I was extremely overwhelmed with the work load and the work quality we were expected to produce. With every problem, I was given a solution; At Algonquin, the teachers are always ready to help and advise you. People from all over the world are part of the Algonquin family. After graduation, I obtained a job at the Strategy and Business Development Division at the College as a Communications Assistant. I research and write about Africa. Without Algonquin, my former teachers and the people I met here, I would not be where I am today. It is very true that the people that shape tomorrow start here at Algonquin College. |
