ITS Projects
ITS Works independently and in conjunction with other college and external organizations.
ITS is responsible for the College’s information technology computing infrastructure including both hardware and software. Our projects include implementing upgrades of existing systems.
We have a team that responds to special requests and develops software applications to streamline the more complicated administrative functions at the College. The Algonquin College Student Information System (ACSIS) that you use so often is an example of our project work. The ability to apply for Financial Aid on line and to view Grade Point Averages (GPA) on line using ACSIS (currently testing successfully in a Beta version) are both examples of the excellent work of our ITS Enterprise Business Applications group.
