Stephen Abraham holds an Honours Bachelor of Science - Computer Science
(Co-op) from the University of Ottawa where he
graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a certified Project
Management Professional (PMP), certified in
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Foundations, and has completed the Canadian Securities
Course (CSC).
Mr. Abraham began at Algonquin College in the Information Technology
Services Department in 2002. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of IceRadio.com, a revolutionary
on-line on-demand music service. He was also co-founder and CTO of sofTV.net, a software
development company specializing in internet streaming media and broadcast television automation software.
He is the Director of Information Technology Services.
Prior to coming to work for the College, Diane was the
Financial Analyst for Sound Venture Production and in
her spare time has recorded some radio
advertisements. She first started at Algonquin
College in 1988 at the Management Centre before
joining Student Services in 1994 and Information
Technology Services Department in 1998.
She is currently the ITS Finance & Administration Manager
and Trainer for Netscape Calendar, responsible for
Finance, Marks Analysis, Printing and all ITS Policy &
Procedures. Business Administration – Accounting
Diploma, she is a certified Information Technology
Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations, and has
completed the Management Skills Program.
Eric Marois hold a Master of Engineering Management degree
from Ottawa University. He graduated from the Royal
Military College (Kingston) with a Bachelor of
Electrical Engineering and later completed a
specialization as Aeronautical Engineer. He is a
licenced Professional Engineer of Ontario and
certified in Information Technology Infrastructure
Library (ITIL) Foundations.
Mr. Marois began at Algonquin College in the Information
Technology Services Department in 1999 as a project
planner. Prior to that, he was the Administration and
Maintenance Manager for the slot department at the
Hull Casino (renamed Casino du Lac Leamy). He also
spent many years as a Canadian Military Officer
working as an aeronautical engineer doing various
support roles mainly on CF-18 aircraft and simulator.
He is currently the ITS Operations Manager responsible
for Service Desk, PC maintenance, Laptop support and
AV/Eclassroom support.
With well over 20 years of experience in the Information
Technology field, Mr. Martin leads the College’s IT
infrastructure team which is responsible for the
support and enhancement of the College’s voice and
data systems. His team also includes the AV and IT
support group for the College’s Pembroke campus.
Hisprofessional background includes leading teams in
information systems development, information
technology architecture, deployment and support in the
private and public sectors. Prior to joining the
College in 2000, Mr. Martin has held management
positions at Newbridge Networks, Bell Canada, Simware (Net Manage) and
Ottawa Cablevision.
