Email - Smartphones and Smart Devices

These instructions are offered as-is and are supported to the best of our ability. Due to the vast number of companies, devices, firmware versions and setting variations we may not be able to get your specific device working.

Additional Tips

> You may need to update your firmware if certain settings options don't appear or do not work. For instructions on doing this.see your user manual or the manufacturer web site.

> If some of the settings don't seem familiar to you please refer to your owner's manual or the company web page.

>Some devices are capable of auto-detecting the email settings.

Forwarding

Forwarding your algonquin email to another system can be done by staff in Outlook or OWA. Please be aware that in either case the mail remains on the Algonquin server and uses some of your email quota. This means that your quota will fill up and your email would stop working and forwarding. You may have to return to your college email and delete unwanted items.

If you are staff you will not be able to use Outlook off campus without VPN.

You can only use Outlook on campus if it is a college laptop that has been added to the domain.
