Communications Suite - Calendar - Navigating through Calendar
You can view your calendar in four different ways - Day, Week, Month and Year. You can also view your Events and Tasks in each view except for Year. The following describes how to navigate through these views.
Day View
  • Click the Day Tab to view a day's calendar (see figure 5). This is the default view when you access the Calendar.

  • The Day view (see figure 6) displays events and tasks scheduled for the day. By default, the current day is displayed. Events that are scheduled for the specific day will appear in the calendar grid.
  • You can also view overdue tasks and tasks that are scheduled for the day in the Task Pane.

Viewing Events and Tasks for Another Day
  • To view the calendar and/or events from another day, you can use the Jump to: tool (see figure 7). Use the drop-down menus to select the Month, Day Year of the date you want to view and click on the button.

Tip: You can also use the Mini Calendar to view a calendar or event(s) for another day by clicking the specific day.

  • Click on the button beside the Jump to: tool to quickly go back to the current day's calendar.

Week View
  • Click the Week Tab to view you calendar in Week view. (see figure 8)

  • The Week view displays events and tasks for the currently displayed week. By default, the current week is displayed. Events that are scheduled for the specific week will appear in the calendar grid. You will also view overdue tasks and tasks that are scheduled for the week in the Tasks Pane.

Viewing Events and Tasks for Another Week
  • To view the calendar and/or events for a different week, you can use the Jump to: tool (see figure 10). Use the drop-down menus to select Month, Day, and Year of the week you want to view and click the button.

Tip: You can also use the Mini Calendar to view the calendar, events and tasks for another week by clicking on the specific week.

  • Click on the button beside the Jump to: tool to quickly go back to the current week's calendar.

Month View
  • Click the Month Tab to view a month's calendar (see figure 11)

The Month view displayes events and tasks for the currently displayed month. By default, the current month is displayed. Events that are scheduled for the specific month will appear in the Calendar Grid. You can also view overdue task and tasks that are scheduled for the month in the Task Pane. (see figure 12).

Viewing Events and Tasks for Another Month
  • To view the calendar, events and tasks for a different month, you can use the Jump to: tool (see figure 13). Use the drop-down menus lists to select the Month, Day, and Year of the month you want to view and click on the button.

Tip: you can also use the Mini Calendar to view the calendar, events, and tasks for another month by selecting the specific month.

  • Click on the button beside the Jump to: tool to quickly go back to the current month's calendar.

Year View
  • Click the Year Tab to view the calendar for the current year (see figure 14).

In Year view, the entire year displays each month of the year (see figure 15).

Note: You cannot view tasks or events in the Year view.

Viewing Another Year's Calendar
  • To view the calendar for a different year, use the Jump to: tool (see figure 16). Use the drop-down menus to select the Month, Day, Year of the year you want to view and click on the button.
