People and programs try to break into accounts. The simpler your password is, the weaker it is. Algonquin took a steps to force everyone to use more complex passwords. Not all of our systems require it yet but they will. Remember that many systems are case sensitive for the username and password so check the Caps-Lock key if you have trouble.
Any time a user changes their network password, it has to meet password complexity requirements. Complexity requirements are enforced when passwords are changed or created.
