For conference calls we are moving from our current ConfBridge system to the new MeetingPlace Express by Cisco.
Why? What's the point of changing?
1. The new MeetingPlace Express has enhanced features like chat, desktop viewing and file sharing.
2. MeetingPlace Express is more compatible with our new Call Manager system while the Confbridge is becoming less compatible.
3. Possible furture features like setting up conferences in calendar.
Timing
Confbridge will remain functional until August while the new MeetingPlace Express will be officially open for business July 1st but you can enter the system before that to begin using it.
