Network Drive Support FAQ

 

Q. I am on my computer but can not map my network drive

A. See if you can browse to MyAlgonquin, this will confirm you have a good connection to the College. If this fails then you do not have an Algonquin network connection. If you are at the College try rebooting. If at home, run VPN

Q. I can't see my W drive and ITS is asking me the path? What do I do?

A. Check your co-workers drive mapping in their MyComputer. Select the drive and see. In this diagram you can see the path is \\algshare\staffuse$\its and that is what you would use for mapping.
