Voicemail Password Support 

The following allows staff and faculty of Algonquin College to install and login to the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant, after the Voicemail migration.
When moving over from Voicemail system Unity-4 to Unity-5, the client’s password will change. This website will allow clients to change their own passwords in the event they cannot login.
Cisco Personal Communications Assistant (PCA) is a web page that allows you to:
- Change your own voicemail settings
- Update greetings
- Change the devices that notify you that you have a voicemail
- Create a private distribution list (recommended method)
- Change the playback speed of messages.

- Using Internet Explorer version 7 or higher, go to the following website… https://voicemail.algonquincollege.com/ciscopca/logon.do

Active-X
First time users need to install an Active-X control prior to login, you will be prompted. You will see a Microsoft warning bar at the top of the browser. Allow it to install.
Note: If you fail the logon too many times you will be locked out for 10 minutes.

NOTE: If you don’t install the Active-X control, you will not be able to login to the website to change your voicemail password.
When clicking on this bar, you will get the following pop-up.

Please click on Run Add-on to install the Active-X control. Once you click on RUN, another pop-up will appear as follows.

Click OK to proceed with the installation.
- You can now login with your NT username/password credentials. The Domain is Woodroffe.
- Once logged in, you will get to the following introduction screen.

Please click on the Cisco Unity Assistant blue underlined link. This will bring you to the main screen.
- You are now at the main Unity Assistant screen, where you can change your password.

In the middle of the screen you will see a category Phone Password.

You can enter your new voicemail password here and click on the save button ( ) at the top left corner (looks like a floppy diskette). Your password is now reset and changes take effect immediately.
Password Rules
- Must be all digits
- Must NOT be the same as previous password
- Must NOT contain repeated digits (99911 or 9999)
- Must not be consecutive ascending or descending (3456 or 9876)
- Must NOT be the same as your extension or spell out your name
