Job Connect and the Summer Jobs Service are provincially funded employment programs. Both programs play an important role in supporting economic development in Renfrew County and assisting local employers with attracting employees. Youth who participate in the Job Connect Program are usually between 16 and 24 years of age. Students who participate in the Summer Jobs Service are between 15 and 24 years of age and must be returning to school in the fall.

- Job Connect can provide you with pre-screened applicants who have worked with our employment counsellors to become job-ready.
- Job Connect's training consultants work with you to develop a training plan that suits both you and the employee and provide ongoing support.
- A training incentive may be available to employers to assist with the training costs associated with a placement.
- We provide you with the opportunity to advertise your job postings in our busy resource centres or on this web page.

Note: Employers must not displace existing staff with students or youth hired through the Job Connect or Summer Jobs Service Programs.
