Why CELPIP? Online registration: It is recommended you register at least two to three weeks in advance as seats are limited.
The CELPIP-General Test is the Canadian English language proficiency test designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as an approved test of English proficiency for applicants under the Skilled Workers and Professionals Class Program.
The Canadian Test: the CELPIP-General Test was developed at The University of British Columbia (UBC) and is administered by Paragon Testing Enterprises, a subsidiary of UBC. It is a complete English language testing program that accurately assesses four language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing proficiency in typical everyday situations. It is designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as proof of English language proficiency for those applying to immigrate under the Federal Skilled Workers Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, Start-up Visa Program, and under various Provincial Nominee Programs
The CELPIP-General LS Test assesses listening and speaking proficiency in typical everyday situations. It is designated by CIC as proof of listening and speaking proficiency for those applying for Canadian citizenship.
