Problems Logging In with Your Library Account?

Problems Downloading from an Ebook Resource?

  • If you are using Safari, this product does not permit downloading or borrowing. Ebooks must be accessed while online.
  • If you are using EBSCO for the first time:
    1. If you are off campus you need to log in using your Library account.
    2. Click "Download This eBook (Offline)".
    3. You will be prompted to sign in to your EBSCOhost account or create a new account. Print Screen of the EBSCO Download Intructions
    4. You will be prompted to download and install the recommended Ebook Reader for your device. Follow the instructions. Print Screen of the EBSCO Download Intructions

      Note: when using Adobe Digital Editions, you need to select: "I want to Authorize my computer without an ID", in other cases you will be asked to create a free Adobe ID.

    5. IMPORTANT: After installing the recommended Ebook Reader go back to the EBSCO page under your "Folder" and download the book offline.

  • If you are using the Canadian Electronic Library product (ebrary) for the first time :
    1. If you are off campus you need to log in using you Library account.
    2. Create a Canadian Electronic Library User ID and login.
    3. Select the ebook and click "Add to Bookshelf".
    4. Access the ebook through your "Bookshelf".
    5. Click on the download button. NOTE: ONLY DOWNLOAD EBOOK TO YOUR OWN DEVICE.
    6. Download and install the recommended Ebook Reader for your device. Follow the instructions. Print Screen of the Ebrary Download Intructions
