ELECTRONIC DATABASES: (Restricted to Algonquin College students and staff).
From the LRC’s homepage, click on DATABASES. Click on SEARCH BY TOPIC and choose Health Sciences in the Subject List. These products provide abstracts, citations and some full text articles from a variety of Nursing and Medical Journals.
Usernames and Passwords may be required for some Databases – Please call the LRC at 727-4723 Ext. 5834 for these.
Find Electronic Journals related to Nursing using the Electronic Journal Locator
Scroll to the bottom of the Databases page and click on the Electronic Journal Locator.
- Locate a Journal either by title (search the index) or by choosing Health and Biological Sciences in the “choose a subject category” dropdown box.
- Scroll down and click on to your subject area of interest.
- You will then find a list of Online Journals for this subject available through the library's databases.
- Having found the title you want, click on the Database Name and you are ready to search within the Journal.
