Creating Specialized Learning Materials

The Professor of the 21st Century works independently and with others to develop and/or adapt learning materials to help different learners achieve learning goals.

The professor

· Locates learning resources, matches learning materials to the needs, interests and abilities of learners
· Assess and selects appropriate learning materials
· Contributes to the work of interdisciplinary instructional design teams
· Creates learning materials (print, electronic, audio-visual) that help learners achieve learning outcomes
· Works within legal and ethical guidelines when creating learning materials
