Creating Specialized Learning Materials

Creating Specialized Learning Materials

In this section of this web site, we are focusing attention on the design/adaptation of stand-alone learning materials that maximize the learning opportunities for all students. Many of these materials are produced by teams of Algonquin faculty working together on print-based materials, such as lab manuals and independent study modules, or on independent learning web sites.

For example, in this section you will find the following:

  • 13 different designs for advance organizers
  • Links to a free concept mapping tool
  • UID (Universal Instructional Design) explained
  • How users read the web....they don't!

And much more!
